This is a short animation film produced by collaboration of Bumbuku Creatives and War Child Holland, a non-profit organisation giving psychological support to children living in war zones. The animation starts in the darkest woods and follows Red Riding Hood’s horrific journeys fighting with dragons and the darkness with the support of many characters. At the same time, she rediscovers joy, happiness and freedom under those harsh circumstances. Her journey ends at her grandmother’s house which represents a safe space where children who experienced war can heal.

The film focuses on the impact of war on children. It underlines the urgency of mental support for vulnerable children of war to rekindle back with their hopes and dreams.
