In the opening, student Henry Shankweiler describes this piece as one of the solo pieces to be written for trombone. Lars-Erik Larsson’s is well-known for composing, The Pastoral Suite, which he created while working as composer for the Swedish national radio service. By combining music with read out loud poetry, a new genre of music was born.
