Seeing Racism Through VR

Seeing Racism Through VR by Farren Howard examines the work of Dr. Courtney Cogburn, a Columbia University professor, who utilizes virtual reality to immerse participants in the daily experiences of Michael, a Black man facing systemic racism throughout his life. From childhood schoolyard discrimination to workplace bias, the VR experience allows users to step into his shoes and live through these challenges firsthand. This unique and significant project aims to create impactful social change.
