The film is a lesson in cultural differences and the joys of childhood, as Mani reminisces about his house in the bustling market of Karol Bagh, his school — the renowned St. Columba’s — and his tricks and escapades with friends, jumping over the school boundary wall to walk around cosmopolitan Connaught Place.
