Dancing for Trust – Bremen

Dance & Music – 5 min

Battery Dance is proud to share Dancing for Trust: Bremen with the Planet Classroom audiences. This mini-documentary reveals the process of working with teachers and students in and around the Northern German City State of Bremen. As in all of its dancing projects with schools in Germany which began in 2006 in Breisach and Freiburg, Battery Dance’s teaching artists help unlock the wellsprings of creativity that live within every young person, whether or not they have had prior dance training. Dance as a story-telling device relies on the body and not words to convey meaning and feelings about topics that are often too hard to describe in words. See the results of a workshop of only five days in which lives are changed forever.
