Battery Dance returned to Germany in the Fall of 2023, to the fascinating city of Halle, birthplace of the great composer Georg Frideric Handel. This was our third program in Halle and therefore gave us the opportunity to build on relationships and recognition to grow the impact. As in the previous year in Bremen, we began with a week of teacher training and were truly overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the teachers. Going into the schools with the teachers as partners was deeply gratifying as was unearthing talent and creativity among students of different ages, ethnicities and life experience.
