Valerie Coleman is a Grammy-nominated flutist with her works being played in over five different symphony orchestras and various commissions with The Library of Congress, American Composers Orchestra, and The National Flute Association. These students from Bard chose to perform from the works of Valerie Coleman’s “Red Clay”, a set that combines chamber music with southern style and bluesy riffs.
