People Like Us highlights the plight of refugees in Malaysia and focuses on the obstacles and goals of one teenage refugee, Rafiq.

Rafiq dreams big where opportunities are scarce. “Being a refugee is not a weakness… God created us the same.” He gives equal opportunity to People Like Us.

This short documentary was produced on location in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, by an Actuality Abroad student crew and shot with Canon cameras.
